Weekly Training Post: Week 9 2018

Slowly getting back on track this past week. I was able to get a run in which with the amount of snow Calgary got this previous week felt like a bigger deal then it was, I got a couple of walks with the kids which are much better than nothing so I will definitely take that.  I also crushed my weight sessions, it was another bump up in the weight I’m lifting which is one of the greatest feelings.

 

Right now, my weeks are roughly looking like this (remember I’m doing Primal training so it comes down to how I’m feeling each day)

Now everyday also includes a mobility work session as well which I think is the biggest thing I’m doing as it keeps me able to run more frequently and has really put an end to the shin splints I had to deal with in the past.

 

So that’s last week, hopefully I keep the momentum train rolling and have another good week as the base-building phase moves along.
